This game is based around building and exploring as many do, but it is set in a content and more hygienic 13th century. It is provided in three precise formats, a computer simulation game, and one each for Wii and DS. Shockingly, the games differ from one another quite a lot dependent on the format.
Dawn of Discovery offers 2 play options, Story or Continuous Play mode. The story version is sort of a journey of discovery as it takes the player on a mini-history of the genesis of early civilizations. It starts with the player constructing small villages and leads him or her to becoming a designer of giant stone cities. Thereis a host of interesting characters on the way, pretty much what one would imagine for this period of time. There are scamming damsels, maybe not in trouble, along with the stereotypical conceited kings and some kinder, more gentle sultans.
Whichever game mode is selected, all gamers begin by creating island civilizations and the very best standard of living for the folk who live there. As time rolls by, the straightforward citizens can graft their way up into higher society and maybe become members of the wealthy controlling class. The more classy the way of living, the extra cash is reaped by a player through taxation. Just as in real life, PC simulation games are cognizant of the fact that the more elaborate the society, the more goods and services must be made and used.

While plenty of hi-tech PC simulation games have outstanding and intriguing visual pictures, Dawn of Discovery is more in the beguiling and simple mode. Game players say alarge amount of enjoyment in watching the metamorphosis from city to city and as with all urban centers, this P.C simulation game features some interesting actions along the streets and roadways. A little bit of voice-over narration and a bit of perky music set the tone for discovering a world long ago and far away.
